Board Member Information

The Roselle Park District is governed by a five-member elected Board of Park Commissioners. Members serve four year terms without compensation and are directly responsible for governing, maintaining, and developing strategic plans for the Agency. The Board meets every first and third Wednesday of each month at our facility on 10 North Roselle Road. Any resident of the Roselle Park District who meets the requirements is eligible to run for a seat on the Board.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Roselle Park and Recreation Board performs its many duties through the contributions of elected Commissioners and the leadership of the Executive Director. Their actions are guided according to the following roles and responsibilities.

  • Develop park policies
  • Enact ordinances governing the use of neighborhood parks, parkways, Turner Pond, Kemmerling Pool, as wells other facilities
  • Appoint the Executive Director
